Jesus Teaches How To Pray

Next morning, when the sun had risen. Jesus and the twelve went to a mountain near the sea to pray. And Jesus taught the twelve disciples how to pray. He said, “Prayer is the deep communion of the soul with God. So when you pray do not deceive yourselves as do the hypocrites who love to stand in the streets and in the synagogues, and pour out many words, to please the ears of humanity. And they adorn themselves with pious airs that they may receive the praise of people. They seek the praise of humanity and their reward is sure, fully paid by so doing.
But when you pray, go to the closet of your soul. Close all the doors, and in the holy silence, pray. You need not speak a multitude of words, nor yet repeat the words again and then again, as heathen do.

Our Lord’s Prayer

"Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.  In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Forgive us our sins,
and enable us to forgive those who sin against us.
Do not allow us to fall into temptation,

But deliver us from the all evils.

For Yours is the kingdom

the power and the glory forever. Amen.

God does not lead people into temptation. And you should know that this prayer was introduced (composed) by Adam in the past. Jesus confirmed it and brought it to the notice of humanity.

Mercy For Mercy

“If you would be discharged from all the debts you owe to God and man, which are the debts you have incurred by willingly or unwillingly transgressing law, you must forgive the debts of every man. For as you deal with other people, even so your God will deal with you.”

"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.  Matthew 6:14-16

Explanations:

You forgive others by doing the following:

1.     Forgive and forget the offences of others.

2.     Do not bear grudges by grumbling, murmuring, nagging or complaining.

3.     By so doing, you free your heart, mind and soul, and make them conducive for your spiritual growth and wellbeing.

4.     Tolerate others, and overlook their short comings.

5.     Do not revenge or pay evil with evil.

6.     Yet, discipline people where necessary.

7.     Do not allow evil to exist and multiply in the midst of people, simply because you have been asked to forgive.

8.     Where necessary, effect discipline.

9.     Be merciful to those who offend you, especially those who come back to you asking for forgiveness. Be quick to forgive and forget.

10.            As for the very wicked ones, engage in back-to-sender prayers, to pay them in their own coins, so that God would reverse their evil plans, actions and warfare back to them and to strike down the makers of evil, who are the native doctors, marine priestess and cultic kingpins.

Jesus Teaches How To Fast

And when you fast, you should not advertise it. When the hypocrites fast, they paint their faces, look modest, assume a pious pose, that they may seem to people to fast. A fast is deed of soul, and like a prayer, it is a function of the silence of the soul. God never passes by any secret prayer or fast. He walks within the silence, and His benedictions rest on every effort of the soul. Deception is hypocrisy, and you shall not assume to be what you are not. You may not clothe yourselves in special dress to advertise your piety, nor yet assume the tone of voice that people conceive to be a holy voice.”

"Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to people to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to people to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
